My all-time favorite strategy for boosting the nutrition of my meals without adding calories is to use as many herbs and spices as possible! They not only make the food more flavorful but more nutritious as well! Especially when you are trying to lose weight, herbs and spices make your meals tasty. One of the most common reasons for slipping off your diet is because the food is boring, bland and tasteless. Experimenting with herbs and spices side-steps that trap!
